Digital Squadron
Your flying network.
All in one place.
Digital Squadron brings the Velance network together in one digital environment. From your dashboard you see which pilots are relevant, which plans are taking shape, where members are flying and what's happening within the club.
From new connections and flying opportunities to destinations, knowledge and fly-outs: everything you need to get more out of your network comes together here.
Discover who can
fly with you
Connect helps you find the right pilots within Velance. Post a call when you're looking for a co-pilot, want to exchange knowledge or need someone to plan a flight with.
That way the network doesn't stop at names on a member list: real new contacts and opportunities to fly together emerge.
Your homebase is
just the beginning
Your own airfield is only one part of the network. Homebase Hubs shows where other Velance members are active and which pilots, aircraft and activity you can find at other airfields. That makes it easier to meet new people beyond your familiar surroundings.
From plan
to flight
Share where you want to fly and discover which plans are emerging within the network. Flying Plans shows who wants to fly when, and which routes other members are considering. A simple plan can become the start of a flight together.
Better prepared for
new destinations
Destination Intelligence combines practical airfield information with experiences from the Velance network. See what other members have shared about a destination and quickly get a picture of things like PPR, handling, fuel, accessibility and local specifics.
That way you start a flight to an airfield you don't know yet better prepared.
Official sources and the PIC's responsibility always take precedence.
New ways
to fly
Within Digital Squadron it's not only about who's flying, but also what they're flying. Discover aircraft within the community, explore Aircraft Access options and find listings through the Aircraft Marketplace.
From access to another aircraft to co-ownership, or an aircraft offered within the network.
From digital
to real-world flying
Digital Squadron makes it easier to find people, make plans and discover new destinations. But in the end, Velance isn't about a screen.
The network comes together on Velance fly-outs. Pilots depart from different homebases and meet en route or at the destination for a shared flying experience.
Knowledge that stays
within the network
Ask other members practical questions and share experiences that help others later. That way Ask the Squadron grows, step by step, into a knowledge base built from real-world flying.
Digital Squadron is also in development as an app for iPhone and Android.
