Velance Aviation Club
Where passion became a community
My fascination with aviation began early. For me, general aviation isn't only about the aircraft or the flight, but above all about the people, the stories, the destinations and the experiences that come with it.
I noticed that the flying world is strongly divided across airfields, flying clubs and fixed circles. Pilots mostly know people within their own environment, while at other airfields just as many people share the same passion. That idea is where Velance Aviation Club came from: a way to make it easier for pilots from different airfields, flying clubs and homebases in the Netherlands and Belgium to connect with one another.
“Flying has always been wonderful to me. But it only truly comes alive when you share that passion with others and set out to do new things together.”

The world is bigger than your homebase
New people
Meet pilots beyond your own airfield and connect with people who bring different experiences, aircraft and plans.
New opportunities
From flying together and new destinations to Aircraft Access, knowledge and aircraft within the community.
New adventures
Good connections lead to new plans. Sometimes it starts online in Digital Squadron and ends together somewhere far beyond your own homebase.
Built with European ambition
Velance begins in the Netherlands and Belgium, but the idea behind it doesn't stop at the border.
Our ambition is to build one of Europe's most compelling aviation communities: a network where pilots genuinely know, help and inspire each other — online and in the air.
With Digital Squadron as its home, special fly-outs that bring members together, and a community where new connections, knowledge and opportunities keep emerging.
Big enough to open up new worlds. Personal enough to keep knowing each other.
